Torrey Pines State Park
On Saturday, we went to the beautiful Torrey Pines State Park for a nature walk on a windy, chilly afternoon. The para-gliders and hang-gliders were all out in force up and down along the cliffs. The path I selected was a little more hilly than I intended but Mom handled it with grace and humor and a smile on her face.... (ha!)

The truth I was completely happy that I finished the hike and could manage a laugh! It was more taxing then I bargained for but it turned out to be great! NO I didn't have to crawl the trip back up the mountain So there! Oh there was one point that I tried to cut the hike short and retreat to the top but the men would have really teased me. The country girl attitude kicked in, actually I thought about taking a short-cut through the brush but the warning of Rattle Snakes convinced me otherwise. Thanks Bill for a wonderful day!
