Angeles Crest

It's been almost 10 years since I've taken my motorcycle up in the dramatic mountains above Los Angeles so with a long holiday weekend, I spent 2 days riding in areas north of LA including the Malibu mountains, Santa Clarita mountains, Antelope Valley/PalmDale region, Angeles Forest Highway and Angeles Crest Highway, and the Hollywood Hills. Temps were around 30-40 degrees up at elevation with snow on the ground and icy roads a concern but traffic was light and roads were dry making for a perfect trip.  Click on the slideshow for bigger pics.
