Petes

It's been a long time, but I had the pleasure of hanging with one of my old friends from CT, Petes, who's in town for business. I took my camera with me but forgot it in the car however Petes looks great. He doesn't look like he's aged at all since 1997. Sean and I had a good time catching up with him and had dinner in La Jolla. It was great to see you Petes!

Harry Potter

Sean's been reading the Harry Potter books and is now on the 3rd book. The funny thing is that he talked his Grammi into reading them also and they have an open discussion about how their progress is going. I think she's almost done with the 2nd book. He enjoys knowing that she is reading the same books and looks forward to talking about them with her. I love that he is reading. I used to read all the time but not as much lately. I did, however, read a really good book recently entitled "Three Cups of Tea". It's a true account of a mountain climber who makes it his life's work to build schools in remote Pakistani and Afghani villages and is an incredible story.
